this study has given me a better appreciation of where Christ has me now
By honest review
I should probably disclaim this by saying that I am single, I've never been married, and I am not even in a relationship right now. That being said,
This is an incredible recourse. At my church we did the study in 6 weeks. There was so much information!
The content was very scriptural with added insight, clarification and testimony. In a given week, though, roughly half of what you read is directly from Scripture.
Course work took me about 2 1/2 hours per chapter, but I tend to over think, cross reference and take rather extensive notes. Still, if you split it into 5 days that is only 1/2 hour a day. How much is your marriage worth to you?
This study focuses only on the woman's role in maraige. This is not a study about how to fix your husband, but what it means to be a godly wife. The concepts are customisable in some ways, but at the same time they tell you what the Bible says and it is hard to argue with that.
For me, as a single, this study has given me a better appreciation of where Christ has me now.
